I am feeling a bit lame. I think it's mostly tiredness, and the knowledge that there's not an opportunity to stop for weeks and weeks. Well, six. We have people to visit and things to do and I sort-of can't wait until the wedding is over and I don't have to organise anything again for a long long time.

There are lots of things I feel I should put down on paper screen, but this is by far the most important.

Finally it's Friday and just three hours until I can leave... I've spent the past two hours eating junk in the sunshine, in the toilets (as ever) and now I'm letting the kids play on the laptops till lunchtime. I've kind of given up on trying to teach them anything...
Three days off this weekend! There should be more bank holidays, or alternatively an extra Saturday in every week...

Counting down the minutes until work is over...
All my tutees have cancelled this week so it's early hometimes until deathly dull training on Thursday. If only the beautiful sunshine hadn't been replaced with pissing-down rain...

This morning I paid £600 for the privilege of a horrible dentist experience, complete with a few rounds of that silly putty stuff that makes you want to vom and a piece of mouth stretching equipment that I hope never to encounter again.
It can only get better from here.

Yesterday a teacher told the class about Molly the sheep, the first cloned animal. After the third time she said it, I couldn't bear it and pointed out she was called Dolly...
Special needs kid on the prospect of me getting married: "What if he changes his mind?" and, my favourite, "You don't want to believe everything boys say." Smarter than you'd think.
The past two days have been better than last week, but it's all pretty variable and I don't really understand why. Pushing on regardless. Yesterday I cleaned for nearly 3 hours after work and the house is now mostly sparkling. This evening I tutored a girl and then baked cookies to use up eggs. Look at that productivity!
